Generic Beclomethasone - Qvar, Beclate, Spiriva

Qvar contains beclomethasone, a corticosteroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Qvar Nasal Aerosol is a prescription medicine that treats seasonal nasal and year-round nasal allergy symptoms, such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose in adults and children 12 years of age and older. Qvar Nasal Aerosol (40 mcg) is used for the treatment of nasal allergy symptoms in children 4-11 years of age.

Beclomethasone is an inhaled steroid that is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children at least 4 years old. Beclomethasone inhalation will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.

Generic Spiriva is an anticholinergic agent. It works by enlarging the airways to allow easier breathing. Generic Spiriva is used to prevent bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways in the lungs) in people with bronchitis, emphysema, or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
