Generisk Rizatriptan - Maxalt, Celexa, Effexor Xr, Fluoxetine, Imitrex, Inderal, Inderal La, Lexapro, Paxil, Paxil Cr

Generic Maxalt is used for treating acute migraine headache with or without aura (flashing lights, wavy lines, dark spots) in adults. It should not be used to prevent migraines or cluster headaches. It works by narrowing dilated blood vessels in the brain, relieving migraine headaches.

Generic Celexa is used for treating depression.

Generic Effexor Extended-Release is used for treating depression, panic disorder, generalized or social anxiety disorder.

Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) antidepressant. The way this medicine works is still not fully understood. It is thought to positively affect communication between nerve cells in the central nervous system and/or restore chemical balance in the brain. Fluoxetine is used to treat major depressive disorder, bulimia nervosa (an eating disorder) obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Fluoxetine is sometimes used together with another medication called olanzapine (Zyprexa). to treat depression caused by bipolar disorder (manic depression). This combination is also used to treat depression after at least 2 other medications have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.

Generisk Imitrex brukes til behandling av hodepine ved migrene med og uten aura (for eksempel, blitz, bølget linjer, mørke flekker). Aura er den rare følelse eller synsforstyrrelser, som advarer om anfallet. Brukes ikke til forebygging av migrene.

Generisk Inderal blir brukt for å behandle høyt blodtrykk eller atrieflimmer. It is also used to prevent migraine headaches.

Generic Lexapro is used for treating depression and generalized anxiety disorder.
